The Weald of Kent is a beautifully maintained 18 hole parkland golf course and hotel set in rolling Kent countryside with far reaching views, just a short drive from Maidstone & Ashford. With many elevations, lakes and hazards, the golf course is designed to challenge the most confident of players, but the well-maintained and wide fairways are also forgiving for the less experienced player. In quiet countryside, Weald of Kent Golf Course & Hotel offers a variety of accommodation options with free WiFi. Accommodation is a short walk from the Weald of Kent Golf Course clubhouse, restaurant and bar, gym and the 18-hole golf course.
Weald of Kent is 5 miles south of Maidstone, and also about 5 miles from the 12th-century Leeds Castle.
The Lodge rooms provide modern, comfortable, compact accommodation. Hotel rooms are larger and more luxurious and have large flat screen TVs, King size Hypnos Beds, Egyptian cotton linen, Duck Island Toiletries and ironing facilities in all rooms.
The M20 motorway can be reached in a 15-minute drive and there is free parkingat the property. The on site gym has a range of strength and cardio equipment.
The Weald of Kent Golf Course is located in tranquil settings in the heart of the Kent countryside, just a short drive from Maidstone, Tonbridge and Ashford. Since opening in 1991 the course has matured into an interesting parkland retreat, with a growing reputation for fast, true greens. With a variety of man made and natural lakes and hazards, the Weald of Kent is a challenge to golfers of all abilities. The well maintained, generous fairways are forgiving enough for the novice to enjoy a round, but, the slick putting surfaces and strategically positioned bunkers and water features will test even the most competent of players.
