The Ritz-Carlton, Abama

The Ritz-Carlton, Abama incorporates a variety of rooms, suites and villas to suit a wide range of guests. All accommodation features a personal safe, mini-bar, telephone, 32" satellite and cable flat-screen television (42" television in suites, which also have a DVD/music system), high-speed internet access, a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, an ironing board, tea and coffee-making facilities and a twice-daily maid service.

Citadel Accommodation

The Citadel is the heart of the resort, where you will find most of The Ritz-Carlton, Abama's bars and restaurants, spa, the secret gardens and ornamental lakes, the main swimming pool, the family pool and the rooftop pool by the Persian Garden courtyard. The Citadel is ideally situated between The Ritz-Carlton, Abama’s golden sandy beach and its golf course, both within strolling distance, or reachable in two minutes by the resort's little train. Accommodation comprises Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, Suites, Royal Suite and an Imperial Suite. Interiors make use of local materials, such as Canary Island pine, and each features either a king-size bed or twin beds, spacious wardrobe with coat and shoe racks, chest of drawers, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, a marble bathroom with bath and separate shower, bathroom products and a private furnished terrace with views of the Atlantic Ocean, golf course or the resort's gardens. 

Villa Accommodation 

Hidden among the botanic gardens, tumbling down from the main Citadel towards the ocean, the villas combine exclusive luxury with blissful seclusion. The Ritz-Carlton, Abama’s Villa Deluxe Rooms and Suites are an oasis of calm, designed for guests and families in search of the ultimate escape. As well as enjoying all the amenities of the Citadel rooms, each row of villas has access to an exclusive shared swimming pool, wonderful ocean views from its top floor rooms, a high pitched ceiling with exposed beams. Downstairs guest rooms and suites look out to the pool and/or lush gardens. Full room service and transport to any other part of the complex are available at your request. Adults staying in the villas can enjoy breakfast in El Mirador Restaurant. 

The Ritz-Carlton, Abama's Tagor' Villas

Although family-friendly, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama offers adults-only accommodation in the form of The Ritz-Carlton, Abama Tagor' Villas, a secluded row of thirty Deluxe Rooms and six Suites within 'villas' away from the main resort, with access to a private shared pool and a host of other benefits, including a personalised in-room check-in,  complimentary water, soft drinks, wine and beer during the day at the pool area, a selection of food amenities served around the pool, Nespresso coffee machine and a complimentary selection of teas in the rooms and suites, Asprey bathroom amenities, DVD player, television with English channels, access to over 4,000 digital newspapers and magazines with a tablet or smartphone, iPod docking station, complimentary internet access, the services of a shared Villa Attendant (available from 8am to 8pm) to assist the guests by the pool. Adults staying in the villas can enjoy breakfast in El Mirador Restaurant between 7am and 11am daily. As part of The Ritz-Carlton, Abama's Community Footprint Environmental Programme, a fleet of eco-buggies are available for guests of the Tagor Villa's, on a complimentary basis. 

The Ritz-Carlton Club Level

Guests staying on the Club Level have exclusive use of the Persian Garden Pool . Staff serve complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks and water all day around this pool .

All Ritz-Carlton Club Level guest rooms and suites feature a marble-tiled bathroom with separate shower, toilet and double vanity unit, featherbeds, upgraded bathroom amenities by Asprey, bathrobes and slippers, mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks, air conditioning, Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary bottled water, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, satellite television with English channels, complimentary enhanced internet access, iPod docking station and a private balcony with ocean views and an outside seating area, as well as access to laundry, dry cleaning, pressing service and 24 hour in-room dining services. 

Guests staying on the Club Level will also benefit from exclusive check in and check out in the Lounge, complimentary Ritz Kids access between the hours of 10am and midnight and unlimited use of the water circuit at the spa.

Tennis buffs, as well as families, couples and individuals of all abilities, are invited to play at the Annabel Croft Academy. Facilities here are world-class, with seven floodlit tennis courts perched high above the ocean. The resort's very own centre court accommodates 600 spectators and plays host to professional tournaments, while the resort's team of coaches offers expert tuition following the 'movement and repetition' model created by Annabel in London. Expect to see quick results as you learn the basics or polish your game, set and match.
