The Iberostar Bouganville Playa is a great family resort in Tenerife overlooking the ocean with fantastic golf just around the corner. The resort houses 505 rooms of various types and upgrade options. Golf Las Americas is just 10-minutes away and has many water hazards to challenge golfers of all standards. Golf Del Sur is close too, a course best known for its black volcanic sand bunkers, a must-play when in Tenerife.
The 18-hole par 72 Parkland course at Golf Las Américas is set within an amphitheatre to protect you from coastal winds. Featuring an array of lakes, streams and bunkers along with wide fairways and undulating greens. The wide fairways give some forgiveness off the tees, but accurate approach shots are needed, with the slopes on the greens a big defence on this layout.
This is just one of an extensive choice of over 2,500 stunning venues in the UK and across the globe. We always ensure our customers get the very best value for money at every venue.
Spectacular views of La Gomera are on offer throughout the property, as well as the Adeje mountain range which provides for a great back drop of this high-quality golf course. Negotiating ravines, valleys and numerous water hazards is a big feature at the Championship Course. Don’t let the views of the Atlantic Ocean distract you from this very testing golf course.
Golf del Sur hosts two loops of nine which cut their way through rolling countryside, providing a highly enjoyable yet testing layout. Your attention will be immediately drawn by the black volcanic sand in the bunkers while the tree-lined fairways and undulating greens will keep you occupied on your game. A particularly tricky hole is the 3rd; to the right of the wide fairway is a water hazard behind which lies an impressive ravine, while to the left is a gaping bunker.
