This place is one of the newest faces on the Costa Dorada. It's only a couple of minutes' walk from the crumbly sands of El Raco Beach, and the local golf links are just a little further on.
The hotel's a master of relaxation, thanks to its adults-only tag. You have three pools to pick from, including a rooftop number. A buffet restaurant, a spa* and live music top things off.
Rooms here are modern and spacious, they're decorated in neutral tones. You'll find a double bed, seating area, separate bathroom and a TV, mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning. For a bit extra, you can opt for a pool view room with a balcony.
The Golden Costa Salou lines up three pools, including a rooftop one. There's a restaurant, and a bar which hosts evening entertainment. Cycling is on the activity list, plus there's a spa* and a gym.
The Spanish have been flocking to La Pineda on the Costa Dorada for their holidays since the Fifties, and now the international set is discovering its charms. A vast stretch of golden sand is the town’s biggest draw, with the high-octane Aquapolis waterpark coming a close second. As for tempo, La Pineda is still fairly quiet compared to its lively neighbour Salou, though it’s more vibrant than its little sister village of Cambrils.
Greg Norman, the renowned Australian golfer has been involved in the design and development of the Infinitum Lakes and Infinitum Ruins golf courses at the Infinitum Golf Club along with Alfonso Vidaor and Magí Sardà who have designed the Infinitum Hills course.Greg Norman contributes of course his broad experience to the project after a long professional career that has made him a symbol of golf worldwide.
Infinitum Golf- Lakes course:
Designed by Greg Norman (18 holes,Par 70), is a flat course with wetlands, situated in a protected nature area, where a number of lakes are in harmony with the strategy of the game. It is the most technical course of the three, and the biggest challenge for players. The course has a Mediterranean style club house with all of the services the game requires.
Infinitum Golf- Ruins course:
Also designed by Greg Norman (9 holes, Par 34), is an extensive, easy course, perfect for intermediate level players. Being the middle course, these 9 holes can be combined with 9 holes of either of the other two courses in periods of course maintenance.
Infinitum Golf- Hills Course:
Designed by Alfonso Vidaor and Magí Sardà, (18 holes,Par 72), follows the natural contours of the gently sloping ground. It is made up of pinewoods and has wonderful sea views. Holes 13, 17 and 18 have been built into natural quarries that make a spectacular scenario.
