With its own beautifully kept 18-hole golf course, Fingle Glen Golf Hotel is located just off the A30, just west of Exeter. The hotel offers refurbished rooms, free Wi-Fi.
Surrounded by the peace and tranquility of the lush, green golf course, the elegant bedrooms each have a minibar and a private bathroom. There are also 12 luxury log cabins with extra space.
The new Fingle Glen treatment room offers a range of relaxing treatments and therapies, including massage, facials and waxing. Advance booking is advisable for therapies.
Fingle Glen offers traditional hot meals and light snacks all day. Full English breakfasts are also available daily.
The course at Fingle Glen was originally just a nine hole course when first built in 1989 but was extended to the full 18 in 2002. Further alterations and lengthening of the course occurred in 2004 and while the total yardage of 5,600 yards is by no means long, the layout and nuances of the design still offer an enjoyable test of golf.
