With a number of the lodges clustered around practice putting greens, you can hone your skills whilst also enjoying the comforts of the lodges. The hotel room accommodation is equipped with everything the modern golfer might need. Just a swing away from the clubhouse itself, the rooms have been carefully designed to combine contemporary and legacy, to create something truly unique.
The newest addition to the Loch Lomond Golf Club is the majestic Dundonald Links, whose design was penned by Kyle Phillips, creator of Kingsbarns Golf Links, a course that has been widely hailed as the finest links to have arrived on the golf scene since in modern times.
Like many of his other projects, The Grove, Yas Links and the aforementioned Kingsbarns, Phillips’ Dundonald Links has been quickly recognised by many as one of the best “new builds” in world golf and since its unveiling in 2005, it’s only matured, getting even better along the way, recognition of which came with the announcement that this marvellous course would host the 2017 Scottish Open.
