The resort offers you a hotel, apartments and independent villas. The hotel is divided into five individually decorated wings, each reflecting the expeditions of Portuguese navigators across four continents – Europe, Africa, Asia and South America, which is reflected in the tasteful décor of the rooms and suites. In 2019 a new wing was added – Portugal – the starting point to this magnificent journey around the world.
This gently undulating 18 hole par 72-course blends seamlessly into the stunning Algarvean landscape and offers a challenge that will get the attention of golfers of all abilities. The total yardage of just over 6,400 yards is healthy enough to challenge more experienced players while multiple sets of tees allow those who are less prodigious off the tee to still enjoy the course.
As with any good golf course though, the length is not the main obstacle to a good score. Sweeping undulations, natural lakes and streams, and an abundance of natural fauna encourage golfers to think their way around the course and the slick greens will also test your concentration from start to finish. Espiche Golf is surrounded by open countryside and with views of nearby vineyards and the not too distant Monchique Mountains, it is a truly inspiring place to play golf.
