Just got back from 3 days at Carnoustie, trip went very smoothly. Everything was as promised, the courses were in fantastic condition, the hotel was top class and good staff. The restaurants were very good and prices quite reasonable, and only a short walk into town if you fancy something different. We were accompanied by our wife’s who enjoyed the spa and walking on the harbour and visiting local castles. Do not be intimidated by the carnasty label that the championship course has, yes it’s a very good test of golf, but we are a mixed ability group having single figure golfers and high handicap golfers as well and we all really enjoyed all 3 courses. Yes it’s technical but a great challenge! Big thanks to Daniel at golf travel for organising it for us, I highly recommend them and will use them again.
